The Kneeling Posture Chair comes standard with a backrest and chrome base. Since its introduction in the 1970s, kneeling chairs have been recommended by medical professionals around the world.

The active seating introduced by the Kneeling Posture Chair reduces lower back pain and encourages proper posture. It also uses your back muscles to help you maintain good balance while aligning your back, shoulders and neck.
NOTE: This product is on backorder until the end of August, 2016.

The kneeling posture chair comes standard with a backrest (regular foam), which features supportive Visco Elastic memory foam in the knee and seat cushions, and a polished chrome base for style.

Kneeling chairs were designed with the ergonomic concept of, "A strong back is a healthy back". By promoting good posture, kneeling posture chairs strengthen the lower back muscles, helping spinal alignment and offering additional support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More comfortable and much sturdier than the kneeling chair that it replaces Easy ordering and prompt delivery. Box arrived with no assembly instructions, but I found them online and downloadable from another seller. For me, (5'2" and petite), this is the most comfortable chair for long hours as a writer and graphic artist. The adjustments work well for my size and I am hoping that I get many years of use from it. An almost identical chair that I had just prior to this broke after four days. My main concern is durability, the comfort is superb!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better for lower back pain than traditional chair. I've had this chair for a couple of years now. I got it for degenerative disks in my lumbar spine. In a typical office chair I will get a sciatica flare up after a couple hours. This chair definitely helps if you are sitting for long periods of time. I wrote this review to say that this chair is not meant to be extremely comfortable and it has a learning curve. I'm 6'4 and it will make you sore for a week of two depending on your fitness. Tough it out and you will be glad you did. Also, don't lean back on the backrest, it defeats the purpose. It is there to rest your back muscles, not lean on all day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As good as expected I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and the chair fits great. At first I was tucking the tops of my foot under the legs for support until i realized I was ruining my leather shoes because the metal lip was scratching the tops of the shoe. But tucking the toes under helps from sliding down and losing good posture, so I just have to reposition myself every so often. The kneeling pad seems to already be molding to the shape of my shins and seems to be flattening out and I have only been using it a couple of months and I am not a large person.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from painful for a tall person Not enough spread between the knees and seat when it comes to a tall person. I am 5'10 only 138 lb so it's not like I'm a BIG person, just tall. When I get up at the end of a work day, and I've used it for five days, my knees and shins are aching instead of my sacrum now! LOL I can't win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great chair! This chair is super comfortable and really helps with back discomfort when doing a lot of computer work. It might not be great for tall people but I'm 5'5'' and its perfect for me. You don't miss the arm rests at all and it forces you to engage your back and ab muscles while sitting which is great. I love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seat is very steep The seat slope on this chair is very steep. It is very difficult to sit in this chair without slipping foward unless you use the kneepad, which I do not always like to do. Be sure to read the return policy before purchasing this or any item. On the plus side, the cushions are very thick and nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a must have! I just bought this chair and so far I love it! I am 5'10" so I had to buy a piston that would allow the chair to be taller. I have the backrest in case my back gets tired, but I try to not lean against it too much. My lower back was a bit sore at first, but that's just because those muscles were not used to flexing all day as they are now. I am trying the sit/stand desk method, and this chair is perfect for a little relief from standing when I need it!
