Peter and his staff are EXCELLENT. This honestly is the BEST Relax The Back store I've ever been to I've been to 5 different stores between MI, IL and WI - there is no one friendlier than Peter and his staff. I bought a zero gravity chair in WI while on a trip and had it delivered to MI. This was shortly before the Shelby Twp, MI store opened. Even though I didn't buy my chair at Peter's store he came to my house and serviced it personally when I had a problem with it. I've gone on to purchase pillows and cases, a desk chair and a few other items... Their service is outstanding

I am a 60 year old active working senior with lower back discomfort. I purchased the following chairs from the Shelby Relax The Back Store. (1) The Sanyo Zero Gravity Massage chair that I use on a daily basis. I don't know what to say other than it is truly wonderful. (2) PC095 Anti Gravity Chair. Prior to purchasing my anti gravity chair I wasn't able to sit and watch a hour long movie without squirming to get comfortable. Now I can sit for hours in complete comfort. (3) We recently purchased the Zero Gravity Lift Chair for my 89 year old mother. This was probably the best purchase that we ever made for her. Prior to this she had extreme difficulty getting in and out of her previous recliner. She now literally lives in this chair comfortably. Having my own business I am very critical of how business operate. I was very impressed with the service professionalism and knowledge I found at the Shelby Relax the Back Store. I strongly recommend that you stop by their store to check out the product line and meet them in person.

Ever since my wife and I went to Relax the Back Shelby and purchased the zero gravity Human Touch recliner we have raced to the family room to be the first one in the chair. A second chair is going to be purchased shortly. This chair has been a great way for both of us to relax while watching television or working on our lap top. I recommend this chair because once you sit in it and recline it back to the sweet spot you will know that it is more than a chair for your room but a stylish way to get therapy for your back after a long day. (Go to the store and try a chair and you will find out what I mean about the sweet spot.) More importantly was how knowledgeable and helpful everyone is. The staff was very supportive and patient in helping my wife and me while we made our selection. Their expertise advice and friendly service led us to picking the perfect mattress to relieve shoulder pain that I constantly suffered from on my old mattress. Relax The Back in Shelby Township has been extremely helpful to our clinic and our patients Countless patients have told me how friendly and helpful all the staff was to them upon visiting RTB. Relax The Back does a great job of having a wide variety of products available to the consumer at a reasonable price. Instead of recommending products to patients that usually are only available on the internet RTB makes them readily available to our patients. As a clinician RTB keeps us updated with new products that are available and even asks for recommendations to which products we think patients could benefit from the best. Hello Peter and Laura. As you're aware I recently purchased a king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed with a RhapsodyBed mattress and an Advanced Ergo adjustable base. After sleeping on this bed for two weeks Ive already noticed a vast improvement in my quality of sleep. You both told me the goal was to get me to remain in one position all night in order to eliminate the tossing and turning resulting in broken sleep. After the first week I found that I'm waking up in exactly the same position in which I fell asleep. Amazingly I have awakened at 5:30 am on at least two mornings this past week feeling refreshed and ready to take a 6 am walk. My family laughs because I am not an early morning person by any stretch of the imagination Id also like to share the massage benefits Ive experienced. After a few hours of yard work I laid down on my bed with a sore lower back. Within five minutes of using the massage feature and sinking into my Rhapsody mattress my back pain was gone. I cannot put a price on something that makes pain go away without the use of drugs. Everything you promised at the point of sale was true. The delivery was quick and the set-up of the bed was executed in an extremely professional manner. The adjustable base works great with the dual controllers and is so comfortable for watching T.V. as well as for sleeping. This was a very large purchase and I'm glad I sacrificed my spring vacation this year in order to pay for my new Tempur-Pedic bed. Every night in this bed is a vacation. I am a 60 year old tennis player and golfer. Prior to getting my perfect chair I always (20 years) had a nagging pain in my lower back and once or twice a year I pulled my back where I could hardly walk for a few days. I feel it was a combination of poor posture when sitting at home and the twisting and concussion from tennis and golf. Once I started using the chair at home to read watch TV and use my laptop the pain gradually went away over a 3 to 4 month period and I have had neither of the problems since. Except for a month long vacation where I did not have my chair. But a week at home and it was well again. I believe that by insuring good posture where I can control my environment allows me to play all the golf and tennis my schedule can handle. Thanks Relax the Back. I loved the massage and zero gravity chairs. We first purchased a massage table and I still use it several times a week. The people here are honest and friendly. I have found them to be very knowledgeable in spine and body comfort. I also got a side sleeper pillow and a TempurPedic mattress. Since purchasing the pillow my sleep is uninterrupted.

In November 2010 my lower back pain had reached its highest level ever. My family doctor said Stop using your Lazy Boy Recliner and find something else. I wasn't able to find any chair that was comfortable at local stores so I Googled best chair for back pain. Up pops the zero gravity chair made by Human Touch. I didn't want to buy sight unseen so their site took me to RELAX THE BACK and you. This turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. You and the rest of the staff at RELAX THE BACK were terrific no high-pressure sales answered all my questions allowed me to try everything in the store as long as I wanted suggested alternatives as to what would work best for me explained all the features of all the different chair models and took time to make sure I felt good with my decision. Since delivery of my Human Touch zero gravity chair in December 2010my lower back pain has improved immensely. It has not totally disappeared but almost. This chair is so comfortable in any position that I almost always fall asleep even when I'm trying to stay awake to watch a TV program. It just relaxes the entire body so much I just doze right off. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Honestly, at first I thought the chair was a bit expensive. Today, I can tell you that it is worth every penny. Everyone who visits my home and sits in the chair says WOW Where did you get this I then tell them about you and RELAX THE BACK.
