Now that I am settling in back home again I wanted to inform you of the extraordinary service I have received from Paul Mazzocco since Day 1 (as I have been dealing with him for several months now). Never in my life have I met any sales or service person who goes to the lengths that Paul does to provide such superior customer service He is truly one-of-a-kind and you were most blessed to find such such an amazing employee (which as I'm sure you have experienced is very hard to come by in this day and age).I heard about Relax the Back through Marian joy from my Physical Therapist. You may recall the day I first wandered in to check out the store after just having purchased a desk chair the day prior which I thought offered the ultimate in adjustability options. As I told, you I didn't realize you carried chairs or I would have certainly looked into them. You were so wonderful in showing me different desk chairs and options and I deeply regretted buying the one I had just purchased the day before (which I still have).
Over the weekend, when you were in your other store I met Paul. I remember when you originally told me about Paul I asked Is he as good as you (since you were so knowledgeable and helpful). You replied hes even better than me. Hes a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and he really knows his stuff. Upon meeting him I was extremely impressed by his knowledge also. He analyzed my medical needs my body type how I looked in different chairs from an ergonomic perspective and which options would be best suited to me. I placed the order for a Lifeform Ultimate Executive Chair which I have had for a few months and just love The other brand new chair I had just purchased before coming into your store is now in the basement. Not only is Paul an expert in his field I also want to express how unbelievably compassionate he has been regarding my health situation. I am only 40 years old but I am in extremely poor health. I have several health problems but the most chronic and disabling is the fact that for the past 11 years, I have had Chronic Daily Migraines (24 hours7 days a week) with associated muscle pain in the neck, shoulders and upper back. My Physical Therapist says that my muscles are so weak that I can barely even hold up my own head (this is one reason why a chair headrest was so important for me). My posture is also horrible and Paul has had to work very hard to adjust my chair to help keep me in the best possible posture. Unfortunately he has had to set me up in two different living environments. And he did FAR MORE than just simply set me up with a chair
Paul first came out to an apartment I was in due to recent exacerbation of my medical circumstances. I am not sure if you were aware of this or not but I was there away from my house and family with a 24-hour caregiver because things had become so unbearable. I simply could not function and could no longer hide the pain from my daughter. Paul was so kind and compassionate about my whole situation and did everything he possibly could to help me. He not only adjusted my chair (his only job) Paul spent forever with me analyzing my whole living and sleeping environment and recommending appropriate products based on my unique medical needs. He even brought sample pillows and products from the store since I was so close by. He would then observe which products kept me in the most neutral positions. For example due to my neck,shoulder and upper-back pain I am forced to sleep on my back (as much as I hate it I was always a side-sleeper). He observed my positioning with various pillows,knee wedges, etc. He also helped me make modifications to my desk computer area. In addition, since massage brings such great relief to me he suggested which massage products he thought may help me. And I was so impressed that he was not just merely trying to sell me any old product(s)but only the ones he truly thought would help me most (in fact he even discouraged me from a couple of products I was interested in which he felt were not best suited to my needs).
Paul gained my trust so much and did such a great job of informing me about your products that I have ended up purchasing a very large number of products from your store--the most expensive of which are the Sanyo Zero Gravity Massage Chair and the Lifeform Ultimate Executive Chair. I think I also have every massage device in the store along with so many other great products. I had to leave the apartment not because I was feeling well and ready to come back home but due to allergies. They kept trying to fix water leakage coming into the unit from the HVAC system for a month but the carpeting and drywall was continually soaked and full of mold/mildew--to which I had an allergic reaction (the last thing I needed with my other medical issues). When my breathing started being severely effected I had to leave the apartment immediately. I stopped in the store to buy something the day I was leaving and I told Paul about the situation. He is such a phenomenal human being that he even came over to the apartment to help us load the U-Haul because he knew that timing was of the essence and we did not have help. I simply cannot believe this man. Then as soon as I was back in my house he immediately contacted me to make arrangements to re-adjust my chair set-up my desk space (completely different than that in the apartment) etc. He wanted to ensure that I would be as comfortable as possible now that I was back home. He was here for a couple of hours re-establishing me alone--not to mention all the other hours he has spent with me (and a lot of this time I believe was during off hours). I have never seen anyone with this degree of dedication to their job. I believe he just truly loves helping people like me achieve fuller,more productive lives. And he genuinely cares about his customers. I remember he even contacted me when I was scheduled for surgery to wish me luck.I just cannot say enough about how grateful I am to Paul and all of you at Relax the Back for the difference you have made in my life. I wish I would have known that your store was in the area a long time ago as I bought countless products over the Internet that I thought may help me. However, since I could not see or feel them very few were decent products and or well-suited to me (hence you should see my pillow collection)
