I LOVE my side sleeper pillow. I take it with me when we travel (even to nice hotels because it's better than what they have). We bought one for my husband and it seems to be thicker (in height) and so isn't as comfortable as mine which seems to be lower-profile. We may be getting the Tempur Pedic neck pillow for him since it comes in a lower-profile (3") size.

The Relax the Back paper catalog that I received in September 2011 indicated that the pillow would stop my snoring. It's interesting to see that the online description does not indicate that. I bought the pillow to stop my snoring. After giving it an 11 day trial period, my girlfriend said that I still snored and sometimes even louder than with a regular pillow. When I asked for a refund from the local store, I was told that the policy is that "personal items" are not returnable or refundable because the store "can't resell them". (Makes me wonder what they do with beds that are returned.) Shame on me for not reading the fine print about returns. Shame on Relax the Back for false advertising in the paper catalog, which should have entitled me to a return, since the pillow did not live up to what was promised.

This pillow is great. I had the neck pillow but switched. This one is perfect because I do sleep on my side. My neck pain has gone away. Hurray!

After two weeks with this pillow I am pleased, and happy to be relieved of years of morning arm, neck, shoulder pain. I now awaken pain-free! What more can a person ask of a pillow? Not for everyone, but certainly the best I have ever owned.

Ah, the SidePillow. I spent lots of time and money trying to find the right pillow, and I've heard a LOT of people say the same thing. THIS is MY pillow. I can definitely see where it's not perfect for everyone, but the key for me was finding a place to try pillows out. I found Relax the Back online and saw they had a local store that carried pillows to try. The heavens opened and choirs sang Hallelujah. I was thrilled to hear of their "loaner program" that allowed customers to actually take pillows home to try them. This is revolutionary. I spent 2 hours in the store trying to decide which one to take home. I experimented with each pillow for at least 10-15 minutes, laying in different positions, with different heights, etc. After laying on the SidePillow for about 10 minutes, the Tempur-Pedic "cells" began opening, and its firmness changed to sheer comfort (for me).

I still maintain that there is no ONE pillow that will work for EVERY person. To read reviews that say "Do NOT buy this pillow" and similar sentiments steer people away from something that might just work for them. My advice is to find a place where you can either lay down on pillows to try them out and/or find somewhere that is willing to try a "loaner program" where you use the floor model for several nights.

I started using this pillow twenty years ago. It definately works and works well! My neck issues are eliminated completely with this pillow. It will take about three or four weeks to adjust to this pillow. After that, it will be the only pillow you ever use.

While the design is great, the pillow is too thick for smaller people. The neck area was too thick to properly support my head, making it too painful for me to sleep!

Tempur Pedic needs to make a smaller (thinner) version of this pillow. One size does NOT fit all.

I tryed it out the other day when visiting the store and it was amazing. I have neck issues and this seems like the pillow for me. I'm buying it in a few days.

I love my new pillow. I have had multiple tempur-pedic products before and have loved them all. But this pillow definitely takes the cake. I have neck and shoulder issues AND am a side-sleeper. The elevation of the pillow and the cutout for your shoulder are brilliant. Buy one before they are discontinued.
