I researched massage chairs. This one is highly recommended. Yes, it's pricey, but it's made in Japan, whereas most are made in China. The ones made in China generally are cheaper quality/cheaper price. I truly love this chair. My boyfriend and I use it almost every day and, believe it or not, we actually fall asleep in it. There are several auto-programs, but you can also select which specific actions you want. When my back gets really stiff, I can adjust the rollers to be higher, which gives a deeper massage. Ok, so it's not the same as a human massage, but in some cases, I think it's better!
