If you are looking for a fast track to disappointment then this is the chair for you..... They do a real fine job selling it to you in the store telling you how adjustable it is and praising its breakthrough technology.
The fact is that this will never compare to a real massage it's a massive waste of money and once you have it you are stuck with the stupid thing.
1. It pushes uncomfortably on your shoulders and neck.
2. It holds your head in an uncomfortable position.
3 all the sessions are timed and stop automatically and are in general too short.
4 the air compressor is slow and too weak for a good massage, but great for providing an annoying hissing noise while you relax.
5 you can barely feel the back massage with the "padded insert" in and with it out it creates uncomfortable pressure points.
In the store when I expressed concern they assured me that I could spend a little time adjusting it and everything would be fine. they then went so far as to tell me that these sell so fast that I would easily find a buyer if I really didn't like it.... should have known right there all she was after was a commission
The store will essentially charge you 1500-2000 dollars to take it back. I have tried for months to get rid of this god awful thing and now it takes up space in my house sitting in perfect condition wrapped in plastic!! At this point I'd be happy to just pay the restocking fee but it's far too late now.

Just bought one from the Store in San Jose CA. Ive been looking/ researching a new massage chair for years. I saw this one was available for tryout in the San Jose Store. Loved it immediately plus the service there is great. They really know their massage chairs. I highly recommend purchasing this chair. You dont have to spend anymore time researching others as I had. Just visit the RTB team. Cheers.
have been on massage chairs that have the juice but not the sense of touch like this product. Incorporates traction and translation, as welll as , nice touch triggers and myofascial adhesions...well worth the money...My patients and I will enjoy.
Extensively researched chairs prior to purchase and settled on this. What is particularly nice is the ability to narrowly focus on one spot of the back. I will regularly get knots so bad that no masseuse has the time or strength to remove. This chair does not get tired and will increase needing strength to get the toughest knots. Oh and the pre- programmed massages are very cool as well. Yes it is expensive, but my only regret is not getting one of these sooner.
The customer service after purchase is largely dependent on your geography. If you live outside the purchase area then service may not be very good. It took them several weeks and many phone calls to repair my chair. However it is such a great product I suppose can live with this.
Me and my husband - both of us have really bad backs - tried many chairs before we bought. Went to Brookstone, and also tried a bunch of "brand names" we had never heard of. Then we stopped by a relax the back store. We were amazed by how different this chair is. We had no intention of spending $7000, so it took us a couple of months to save and adjust our budget. No buyer's remorse here. Only one issue...me and my husband fight for time on the chair when we get home from work. Our neighbors think we have lost our minds because we can't stop blabbering about our new $7000 purchase.
