Overpriced but fairly comfy Review by sg

I like the custom part. I thought I'd like all the adjustments. The back contour adjustment is inadequate. It's just a sliding lumbar bar that doesn't affect the pronounced shape of the chair back. The arms don't lock in place, so constantly turn. The arms are also as unbalanced as in a chair a quarter of the price. The arms do adjust closer or farther from the seat, however, which is appropriate for a pricy chair., and makes it much more comfortable.

The seat is very high and can't be lowered any farther, so it's not a good option for anyone under 5'8" There are no instructions--they're molded onto the controls under the chair, so if you actually have a bad back, you can't see them.

I bought the chair because my older, cheaper once was not supporting my seat well,. It made it too easy to tilt and sit crookedly, which might have been part of what brought on my back problem. I got the Brazza with the split seat. This makes the chair insist on one sitting with hips square and in the back of the chair (not on the front edge). There is good support in the seat for the spine. Tilting sideways causes the seat portions to move, making it easier to reach things, and also cueing one to sit up straight. The padded and rolled front edge helps keep the circulation from being cut off, and the seat movement helps keep the blood flowing.

I got the Dash fabric. It's a bit scratchy, but not hot or sticky or cold like leather. It seems to be very durable, but the texture might be harder to clean than something smoother. The mesh on the back is comfortable. It breathes, obviously, and doesn't get hot and cuddly like some of the original mesh backed chairs do. There's enough texture in the padded arm rests that they don't seem to want to stick to bare skin.

All in all I like the chair fairly well. I just wish I liked it more for the price.

Complicated but comfortable Review by jb

I love the seat cushion (very comfy) and seat slider (a definite must order if you are tall) but trying to adjust the tilt is difficult and the chair does not come with a diagram of all the different paddle operations. It just comes with a tri-fold pamphlet listing all the functions of the chair.
