OPTIONAL Remote Lumbar Support:
4 tears in my low back discs. My wife bought me a Human Touch power chair, and it's been a godsend!! I cannot sit for long in any normal chair, anywhere BUT, this chair is perfect for me, and my back pain. She purchased me one of these chairs, and it is such an integral part of my life, that we purchased another for one of our other rooms in the house (where I watch my television).
We purchased the upgraded leather, and memory foam option. I cannot thank enough my wife, Human Touch, AND Relax the Back. These chairs are the best product we've purchased for dealing with my back pain, period!
I must share my anology of feeling physically twisted-up after a long painful days. For 15-years I am a proud owner of the PC-410 series chairs. I look forward to relaxing daily on my zero gravity chair and relieving spinal pressure point discomfort.
Thank you again for this great product. I am planning to purchase a bed that helps relieve spin pessure.
dc in California.
I was in a truck accident in 2000 and shortly thereafter, purchased this chair as well as a temperpedic box spring and mattress. I am still using both 14 years later. Very happy.
I have had 2 of these chairs. Have spinal damage(also affecting legs & feet), this has been the only chair, so far, that I've been able to use for decreasing pressure on spine & getting legs/feet up. In fact I had to sleep in these chairs(yes, my bed), as I could not lay flat in a bed for the last 12+yrs-till I got a latex mattress. TG! Anyway....These chairs suck for reading, it is NOT a reading chair. My biggest complaint(s), the leg portion doesn't fold back, ya gotta straddle it, & sitting upright means no foot rest. The padding.....well...it only lasts so long & not very cush. Bought replacements, the memory foam is still too hard, as it flats out like wet sand. Then I tried the regular foam, its just ok, but nothing like the original feel and it too doesn't last long- in terms of that cushion feel. Plus it's difficult to replace foam-physically its a battle.
I wish the company would change these 2 draw backs, cause its a well needed chair for spine sufferers.
I bought this chair for my husband as a present 12 years ago, and it is still his favorite chair. It is infinitely adjustable, and the mechanism has lasted all this time, despite daily use. The leather has also worn well. The only issue is that the cushioning, which is somewhat thin, has finally worn out and needs to be replaced, but that's not unusual after all these years. Am about to order a new cushion and may upgrade to memory foam from the original foam. Overall, great chair, no complaints.
