Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a form of chronic inflammatory arthritis that affect the spine and the sacroilium in the pelvis. It causes swelling and stiffness in the joints between the vertebrae and the sacroiliac (where the spine joins the pelvis). Over time, it can cause fusion of the spine, resulting in a poor posture, pain, and stiffness.
