Catherine Post - Purchased Lifeform® Ultimate Mid Back Executive Office Chair

I bought this chair 1 year ago. It is the most comfortable office chair I have ever sat in. I can say that, even - and especially - after owning this chair &, of course, sitting in many others since I purchased this one. This is an extremely high quality piece of furniture. It is also beautiful. The leather is gorgeous and it is hand-sewn on the entire chair with great attention to detail. All of the parts are well-made, solid, and very sturdy. I would expect this chair to last for decades. I can sit in this chair for as long as I want, and never feel as if my rear end touches the seat. It tilts back and forth and up and down and, with all of the adjustments it can make, in all directions, it is hard to remain even a little bit uncomfortable for more than a part of a minute. The chair rolls easily on 5 large casters. The lumbar cushion can be pumped up with one stroke of a lever, so that your back is extra firmly supported; or it can be relaxed if you are sitting up and occupied, without any strain. I ordered the neck rest for this chair, and this provides even more comfort and support, especially for long hours of work. When I injured my arm this year, the adjustable height armrests were just what I needed. One arm continued to be at the usual height; the other one was lower, yet still supported by the individual arm rest that I adjusted to account for my injury. There is no other chair that I know of that can accommodate me in this way, & it furthered both comfort and healing of the injured arm. This mechanical parts under this chair make it heavy, so if you are a diminutive size person or if you find it difficult to push objects, even those with large casters, across a floor, you might want to try one out at a store before buying. I am an ordinary height woman and can move the chair just fine, despite its weight. This is a chair I will keep for the rest of my life. Even after 1 year it shows no wear at all. It's actually a wonderful conversation piece, because everyone wants to try it out, and they all remark about how beautiful and what high quality it is. And they are right. :-D I ordered it in leather that is the color of a 'bing cherry'. I couldn't be happier with my chair.
